Where did the inspiration for our diamond necklace pendants come from?
We were inspired by traveling the world with the diamond chain pendants designed in Bavaria. That is why every filigree pendant on a chain bears the name of a cosmopolitan city or an island. In our sustainable Thai Candy collection, for example, we were inspired by the Thai islands and the world metropolis of Bangkok. The design ideas for our necklaces with diamond pendants are created in our home country of Bavaria. Why did we choose only gold chains with diamonds and colored gemstones?
Gold chains with diamonds are not only beautiful, but also more robust than chains made of other materials. This is because gold is a precious metal compared to silver, which is resistant to oxidation and corrosion caused by moisture. If one day you no longer like a piece of jewelry, it can be quickly melted down and processed into a new piece of jewelry. We deliberately only use 14 or 9 karat yellow gold, white gold and rose gold, as diamond chains with a higher gold content can look worn out more quickly. Choosing our stones is all about quality. A diamond is a grown crystal, while a cubic zirconia, for example, is grown in the laboratory. The brilliance is used as a quality feature of a gemstone. Length of the filigree chains of gold
We decided on standard lengths for the length of the filigree gold chains. With an intermediate eyelet, you can wear our chains either at a length of 45 cm or 42 cm. Our chains cover the upper part of the décolleté and flatter the neckline. What are the differences between a white gold and yellow gold chain with diamonds?
Of course, yellow gold chains with diamonds differ from white gold chains not only by color. The gold that is extracted in mines or in the sand of rivers is yellow. In nature there is therefore no white gold as a precious metal and must be influenced by us. White gold is created by the combination of yellow gold and other metals. But other elements must also be added to our yellow gold chains. We offer a choice between 14 and 9 carats, i.e. gold 585 and gold 375. The pure yellow gold content here is thus 58.5% or 37.5%.
In contrast to yellow gold, the gold in white gold is fused with white metals to form an alloy, whereby it completely or almost completely loses the yellow color.
